Problem

Tyres Pluss OÜ had a need for storage racks when the first warehouse was built. The shortage of space quickly became apparent as the floor space for storing tyres was limited.

They also looked for an economical solution to save costs. This is why second-hand storage racks were installed for the first time.

Solution

The biggest question was how to arrange the shelves in the warehouse – what they should be and what the height spacing of the shelves should be. The Baltic Warehouse Master came to the rescue and, based on the floor plan and the height of the warehouse space, determined what the warehouse would look like. In doing so, the pivoting widths of the forklift truck and cost efficiency were also taken into account.

Hit

Recently, additional tyre racks were installed in the Tyres Plus warehouse, which significantly increased storage space. We can now fit considerably more tyres in the warehouse than before and everything works very well.

Warehouse workers who use the forklift on a daily basis are also happy.

Tyres Pluss OÜ has been operating on the Estonian market since 2007. The company is active in the retail and wholesale of new tyres and rims.

Our cooperation with the Baltic Shipbuilders started in 2012. in 2005, when we got our first warehouse. With this came the need for storage shelves, as there was no room for tyres on the floor alone.
